The CHARGEGUARD® unit provides
Protection for the battery against excessive discharge, the convenience
of having your two-way radio on when you want it on, and yet requires no
ignition switch connected.
With built in sensors, it
automatically turns your mobile radio on when you start your motor.
Likewise, when you turn the motor off, the radio stays on 15 minutes or
until the end of your selected delay of one to sixteen hours.

Easy to install -
The
CHARGEGUARD® unit mounts quickly and easily anywhere in the vehicle
- it is wired directly to the battery. The installation procedure is
significantly simplified when using the Automatic Detection Mode
because it does not require an ignition switch connection.

Low voltage Protection - If the voltage in the battery drops
below 11V and stays there for 15 minutes, CHARGEGUARD® will shut
down all of your equipment so that your battery will not go dead.

High voltage protection -
High voltage disconnect (18V) protects the radio equipment from
erratic vehicle voltage regulators by disconnecting your electronic
equipment before catastrophic failure occurs.

Selectable time delay - The selectable time delay allows the
user to adjust the time delay easily. The times can be set at 15
min, or in one hour increments from one to sixteen.

Reverse polarity protection
- The CHARGEGUARD® unit is engineered to electronically prevent
operation in reverse polarity.

30 Amp current capability
- CHARGEGUARD's® 30 Amp capability will allow you to protect
multiple devices such as two-way radios, cellular phones, laptop
computers, etc. with one device.

Available in 12- Volt model
- TThe CHARGEGUARD® unit comes in 12V model. It protects a standard
12V negative ground battery system.
